Avon’s ANEW line has come out with an amazing quad of products in their Avon ANEW Rejuvenate line. I’ve come to have implicit trust in Avon’s skincare products in the past few years; while I have an entire shelf of my closet (and part of my refrigerator) devoted to “price is no object” skin creams, these new products from Avon completely blew me away.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be talking about Avon ANEW REJUVENATE Flash Facial, ANEW REJUVENATE Night Revitalizing Cream, and ANEW REJUVENATE 24 Hour Eye Moisturizer SPF (they also just recently released the ANEW REJUVENATE Day Revitalizing Cream SPF 25). But today let’s talk about my initial impressions of Flash Facial.

Application: Pump a small amount (one pump covered my entire face) into your hand and smooth on your skin. I generally don’t get excited if a product has a cooling feeling on the skin, but the cool sensation that Flash Facial gives I actually really look forward to.

Packaging: I love this bottle. As you see it’s a clear glass bottle with a milky-cobalt colored inner tube that holds the product. It reminds me a bit of a La Prairie bottle a couple of years back – Avon’s Flash Facial is a bottle that belongs on top of your makeup table, not in a draw. The pump works consistently and dispenses and even amount each time.

Initial Results: I noticed an immediate dewy glow which lasts through the day – I actually received several compliments on the “inner-glow” appearance of my skin. I especially appreciated it on my cheekbones – in fact after the second day of using it, I started skipping cheekbone highlighter. In addition, it added incredible countour to my face – I was surprised that a cream could make that kind of a difference. And as I’ll discuss in next week’s post, it lasts.
