So the other day I started using Frederic Fekkai Overnight Hair Repair, and I am loving the results. When I washed my hair, it felt so clean and strong. Really strong. I let it air dry and waited for the initial results.

Something to keep in mind when using Overnight Hair Repair is that you definitely have to still condition your hair like normal when using it. Why? The product gets sucked into the shaft (that’s why it doesn’t get on your pillow!), but the outside of your hair still needs moisture, so keep using your favorite conditioner!

Stayed tuned for more updates on my new favorite Fekkai product!

We previously reviewed the iTech Energy Water System, and am incredibly glad I tossed it in my bag over the last couple of days – nothing cools you down or keeps your skin looking dewy in the AC than a spray of iTech treated water. I think my makeup looked better and more dewy last night after consistently using it through the day than when I put it on in the morning (over a thick layer of moisturizer and then sunscreen – I knew I had to hit the ground running if I wanted to prevent my skin from getting parched during the hot day)

Find the  iTech Energy Water System, Purse Size at Beauty.com.

I like beautifully saturated pinks. I like slingbacks. I like 3 inch heels. I definitely like BCBGirls Women’s Alimie Pumps in Crushed Berry Patent.

If you like pink slingbacks with three inch heels as well, find them at Amazon.com. They also come in a pinky-buff color, a chartreuse green, an intense violet, and a standard black. I just looked up and saw a suit hanging on my door that matches the pinky-buff color perfectly. Ooooo. :)

I finally tried Frederic Fekkai’s Overnight Hair Repair last night, and all I can say is wow. OK, I can say more. A lot more. And that’s why we’ll be posting updates on it over the next couple of weeks.

The product comes in a beautiful, slightly more saturated than Tiffany blue box (we had a discussion in the office if we’d prefer to get a diamond ring or a lifetime supply of Overnight Hair Repair, if one was to recieve a little blue box and got to choose the contents…), and a gorgeous frosted glass bottle. You apply it to dry hair before bed, and then wash, condition, and style your hair like normal in the morning. Repairing hair damage while I sleep? I love multitasking!

Here’s my first impression: My hair looks young and healthy. Fekkai products are always amazing for their ability to dial back the age of hair to look like it did when you were a child, but from scalp to ends, my hair looks incredibly healthy and strong. You don’t have to worry about it getting on your pillow (and then subsequently on your face), since it absorbs nearly immediately. If you’ve tried Fekkai’s Hair Plump, it gives the same look as that, just a little more shiny (but not greasy). I really like the smell (again, it’s like Hair Plump’s aroma) but it’s not at all overpowering.

I didn’t exactly follow directions since my hair looked so good this morning with it in, I didn’t wash it out. But since it absorbed so completely, I think I can get away with keeping it in a bit longer. I’m amazed at how it evenly thickens the shaft all the way down to the ends, so you get incredible volume throughout your hair.

Stay tuned for our ongoing Overnight Hair Repair updates!

We’re currently tweaking the design on Style Chicks – so things might appear a little weird today….

Hey folks!

Thanks for the feedback – our new Springy colors on our Twitter page seem to be a big hit! But of course, here at StyleChicks HQ, we are never satisfied with the first great item we see – otherwise we’d only have one lipstick, and it wouldn’t take us upwards of half an hour to collectively figure out what we want for lunch…

Tomorrow night we’ll be uploading a slightly different design (as in, your standard guy wouldn’t be able to tell the difference, but it would be vastly different to any woman - like black pumps….) on our twitter page, and after showing you all the designs and getting your feedback, we’ll officially put up our new colors right here on Style Chicks!

Thanks again for the feedback!!!!!!!!!!

It was raining all day here, and I was pretty short on time before I headed out today. Fortunately a few Fekkai products worked with the humidity, and I could let my curls air-dry without frizz or hair so large that I can’t fit through the door. Just a couple of minutes with the blow dryer and I was out the door with defined ringlets.

Here’s how:

On wet hair, smooth Frederic Fekkai All-Day Hair Plump onto your hair from the root down. Add a little extra to the ends. Then gently massage your scalp for a few seconds to get a bit of separation and volume. On a crazy rainy day like this, your curls will start to form nice and smooth after this step.

Now’s the tricky part: don’t touch your hair for a bit while it sets. That’s how you get frizz.

When curls are still a bit damp, start drying on a low heat. Half way through, apply Frederic Fekkai Coiff Tousled Wave Spray to further define your curls. Finish off with your hair spray of choice (ideally something moisturizing), and your hair will be perfect, even if the weather isn’t. :)
