Once we experienced Le Vesque, we had to learn more about the brand itself. Â So we asked the Le Vesque founders the story behind the amazing formulations. Without further ado, we present the Le Vesque backstory.

Our Story
Where did it begin?
Le Vesque Luxe was born of associations in a business law course at the University of Connecticut. Two of the co-founders, Mike and Joe, are prior service veterans and entrepreneurs who were looking to start a business that served a real need. Little did they know that Chris, their MBA business law professor, and CEO of Le Vesque Luxe, was a seasoned entrepreneur committed to helping students and veterans start businesses.
In 2018, we rallied around an earnest desire to create products answering the needs of underserved markets. Fueled by insights from Juan & Priya, we identified the need for inclusive cosmetics owing to the seeming invariable tendency for firms to develop products principally for a narrow slice of the population. We learned that most cosmetics contain nasty chemicals, with very few products available that were both all-natural and inclusive of different skin tones and types. The racial and ethnic diversity of our own family backgrounds demanded that we do it differently, more invitingly.
Why CBD?
December 2018, saw passage of the Farm Bill, heralding the potential development of meaningful health and beauty aid products benefitting from the incredible nature of CBD oil. This piqued our interest sincerely, as Joe’s sister has battled Crohn’s disease for over 15 years with medical CBD conferring great results over that time. Further research indicated that CBD could serve as a wonderful ingredient for skincare products owing to so many of its tremendous properties (moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and so forth). We therefore set out to formulate a line of CBD skincare topicals for all skin types, comprised of full-spectrum, organically-grown CBD, coupled with the most natural and effective ingredients available.

We strive to stay true to our mission — personally developing all-natural, inclusive products with the very finest and most effective ingredients. Products that we are proud to have our own families use. After many months of development, our first set of products is now available to your families, as well.
