Enjoy!

For as often as you hear that you should rinse your hair with cool water, if you are using Frederic Fekkai Salon Glaze, be sure to rinse with warm water.

The wonderfully scented Frederic Fekkai Luscious Curls now comes in a “to-go” 1.6 oz size for $9 – this is great for me and similarly mop-headed gals who need to tame curls after getting caught in the rain, on a hot and muggy day, or for a quick restyling after hitting the gym. I’ve loved this stuff for quite some time – it gives the most defined, soft, and shiny ringlets, and somehow manages to make my hair still look perfect in weather that should result in my hair being a ball of frizz.

In a wedding party soon? I’d highly recommend picking this up to keep in your “emergency” stash - it will be a lifesaver should anyone’s hair start misbehaving…

Find it at Sephora.com.

Through the month of May, Sephora is offering free shipping on orders of $25 or more with the code C2548F

Check out our list of great products to get around the $25 mark, and don’t forget about Fekkai’s SunShine Shield Spray for $22.

I’ve done a pretty good job over the past couple of years in keeping my hair from oxidizing from sun exposure – a real peril of long hair is looking like you have strange extensions at a certain point when the sun damages the shaft of your hair and the color (natural or processed) changes. At least the ends of my hair are pretty close to the color of my roots lately.

Unfortunately keeping color isn’t easy – a lot of updos and hats are involved if I’m going beachside. I’ve tried various hair SPF formulas - but most leave my hair with too much residue and far too dull.  Next on my list to try is Fekkai’s SunShine Shield Spray, which sounds pretty good from the write-up.

To avoid the “too much product” factor, it sprays out in a micro-spray so you can control how much goes on. It contains an SPF to protect against sun damage, as well as lightweight silicone to keep moisture in your hair. It also contains Sunflower Seed Oil – which is an absolutely amazing hair conditioner. On top of all that, it adds shine to your hair (a welcome feature for me after all the dulling hair protector products I’ve tried over the years!).

You can find Frederic Fekkai Summer Hair Sunshine Shield Spray at Sephora for $22. I’m looking forward to trying it.

There are a few items around the $25 mark at Sephora that are worth picking up with the free shipping on $25 code:

*Frederic Fekkai Coiff Controle Ironless Straightening Balm – as I raved about before, this amazing stuff just won a CEW Beauty Award – with good reason. See what all the fuss is about for $25 at Sephora.

*Imju Fiberwig Fiberwig Mascara – I just started using this stuff and it is absolutely amazing! I’ll be reviewing it on Style Chicks soon – but it is the first fiber mascara I’ve tried that doesn’t budge, doesn’t clump, and gives me eyelashes that make me look like I’m a Super Hero whose main power is growing amazingly long eyelashes…

Become an Eyelash Super Hero yourself for $22 (add in a cheap filler to get free shipping on $25).

*Sephora Brand Sun Safety Kit ($87 Value) Sun Safety Kit - this $25 kit comes with 11 deluxe sample sized products to protect you from damaging sun exposure – it’s a great time to find a new favorite sunscreen!

Too Faced Fantastic Plastic Set ($64.50 Value) – this is on the clearance for $29.50 – try out Lash Injection Mascara, Wrinkle Injection Cream, and Lip Injection Lip Plumper all for $29.50 with free shipping.

The good folks at Fekkai just won a CEW Beauty Award for their fabulous Frederic Fekkai Coiff Controle Ironless Straightening Balm in the Hair Care and Coloring Product – Prestige catagory. I’ve talked about how much I love this product before - it is my go-to product for stick-straight locks, bouncy curls, and everything in between. In addition to be the first product that ever got my curly locks to stay straight, it conditions your hair beautifully – I love styling products that work to keep my hair in good condition!

You can find it at Sephora and Beauty.com for $25.
