Time to start thinking about early Spring shoes – and these Valentino Bow Detailed Patent Leather d’Orsay Pumps make me wish it was late March (as does the freezing temperatures). I like the sweet bow, it kind of reminds me of a pair of ruby red shoes I had as a little girl, only grown up (4 1/2 inch heels and a little platform tend to make any shoe grown up). You can preorder them now at Nordstrom to have in time for Spring!

So it’s crazy cold in most of the country (including here in the Northeast), and the best cure for cold is cashmere. After spending way too long browsing through cashmere items online before I actually got up and got myself a sweater from my closet, here’s my favorites of what I found at a variety of price points:

Nordstrom Plaid Cashmere Wrap. Super Soft and Super Warm! $98.50 at Nordstrom
Philosophy Dane Lewis V-Neck Cashmere Sweater. $52.90 at Nordstrom. Super soft, super comfy. Good under a jacket or just around the house.
Leifsdottir Scalloped Cashmere Sweater. I absolutely adore this sweater. Check out the buttons!
Philosophy Dane Lewis Ruched Yoke Cashmere Hoody. Is there anything more luxurious than a cashmere hoodie? $52.90 at Nordstrom. Comes in some beautiful colors.
Lauren by Ralph Lauren Cable Cashmere Sweater. I love this color.
Juicy Couture Cashmere Track Pants and Juicy Couture Empire Waist Cashmere Hoody. You could exercise in this. Or you could curl up on the couch and watch a movie. I won’t tell anyone. Also comes in black.
Juicy Couture Bow & Charm Cashmere Hat. Nothing keeps you warm like a cashmere hat and scarf. $95 at Nordstrom.

I just noticed on Nordstrom.com that they price match if you find your item at a lower price elsewhere. Just call 1-888-282-6060 and they will match the price.

I tend to find when I’m shopping around that Nordstrom usually has the best price anyways, but good to know.

Nordstrom is offering a really nice yellow cosmetics case with 18 samples with any $85 beauty purchase. Among the samples is a .24 ounce Kinerase ‘Extreme Lift’ Face, which retails for $150, so this sample alone is worth $36. And anything Kinerase is good in my book…

Saks Fifth Avenue Virtual Gift Card: Available in increments between $25 to $500. If the person has an Off Fifth Outlet near them, this is a great gift.

Nordstrom Virtual Gift Card come in denominations ranging from $25 to $1000. And they are adorable.

Bliss World e-cards: Bliss offers three versions of their gift card, one is for a package of specific items, one is a generic e-gift card, and one is a e-gift card that can either be used online or in a Bliss World spa.

I was browsing Nordstrom and found this great Tadashi Belted Taffeta Shirtdress. I love the color – it’s so rich and crisp, and the low pleats on the skirt add a girly touch. Definitely worth having for an office party.
