DESIGN

The soap holder itself is 4.3″ by 3.1″ by 0.9 inches and accommodates larger bars. The soap holder slats support even larger oversized bars such as is typical with fine milled or handmade soap bars, even unusual shaped bars. The holder also works with sponges and smaller loofahs. The slats are angled so that moisture drains down and out into the sink, shower, or basin, away from the bar.

PUTTING THE DAREYOU SOAP HOLDER TO THE TEST

I washed my hands with a handmade soap that contains a great deal of Shea Butter and essential oils. This particular handmade soap bar tends to get mushy with use and takes a long time to dry.

The water quickly rolled off the bar and down to the drain. The bar dried out quickly on the top, sides, and bottom while retaining its’ original shape and not becoming soft or mushy.

I prefer the DareYou soap holder to the soap trays and savers I typically use. The soap savers with the plastic pegs also tend to leave marks on the soap, whereas the DareYou design did not leave an imprint on the soap. CONSTRUCTION

A duvet of your choice fits into the cover discretely underneath the zipper closure. The zipper is concealed by a fabric overflap so that the zipper does not show or scratch the skin.

The shams cover a pillow with a generous fabric slot and over flap to keep the pillow in place. There is a two-inch flange on all sides.Â The stitching is well-done with no loose threads.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Despite their hotel bedding appearance, this set is very easy to care for. It is machine wash on the gentle or delicate setting. Remove promptly, and tumble dry on normal, low heat.

PUTTING THE DUVET SET TO THE TEST

The duvet cover fit my generous, very fluffy down duvet comforter, even though it is a bit over-sized for a queen duvet, it still fits nicely and it does not shift or travel downwards during use. Some duvet covers have a problem with duvets bunching up on one side or settling down into the bottom of the duvet cover and becoming unevenly distributed, I did not experience that problem with this set.

The fluffy light comfort of the down was not crushed in this duvet cover, something else I appreciated about Moodowell covers. Lastly, the vibrant blue of the duvet cover did not rub off or stain my pristine white down duvet.

Cozy, comfortable, soft to the touch and so attractive! The color really brightens up the room.

HOW THE SHEETS LOOK

HOW THEY FEEL

Sumptuous and silky! They are very soft because of the premium double-brushed microfiber. They are also breathable, making them feel fresh and comfortable on warm, humid nights, yet cozy and warm on colder evenings.

HOW THEY FIT ON THE BED

I got the Queen size set, the dimensions are generous and easily fit onto my pillowtopper mattress. The Flat Sheet measures 105″ x 90″, the Fitted Sheet measuring 80″ x 60″, and the Pillowcases are 20″ x 30″, which is plenty of room even for my super fluffy pillows.

The bottom sheet stays in place: the bottom fitted sheet has elastic all the way around, not just on the corners, so it stays put on the mattress, even on deeper pillowtop mattresses like mine, about 16 inches. These sheets are also good for mattresses plus mattress toppers such as an egg crate or foam topper. The sheets fit taut and stay put, and I like not having to remake the corners of the bed in the morning.

The sheets also fit on not so deep mattresses including my pull out couch for guests. I like to add a mattress topper to make the guest bed more comfortable, and these sheets accommodate this nicely.
