End the Summer with Style Chicks Spin-Off Spinlash Giveaway!

August 26, 2008 · 11 Comments

The Summer of 2008 is winding down, but the fun at Style Chicks is just revving up! We are adding a few new destination websites to the Style Chicks family, one of which, Luxilashes.com, is dedicated to everything you need to get your dream eyelashes.

To celebrate, Style Chicks is having a giveaway this week of our favorite cure for the common clump  Spinlash. You’ll remember from our rave review how much we love Spinlash for giving a full, dramatic, and perfectly separated fringe  and now you can win one by leaving your favorite eyelash tip, trick, or even a mascara horror story in the comments below.

The contest ends on Tuesday, September 2nd at 11:59 pm Pacific Time. We will pick three winners randomly and you will be contacted by e-mail to get your shipping address so we can send you your Spinlash!

One entry per person, please and be sure to include your e-mail so we can contact you if you win (your e-mail address will not be published or shown in your comment). And personal information will not be published and will only be shared with the good folks at Spinlash in order to ship your prize. We can only ship to US addresses – sorry non-US residents!

Be sure to add spinlashwinner@stylechicks.com to your e-mail contacts so the notification if you win doesn’t go to your spam folder!

And remember, if you don’t win (or simply cannot wait a week to get your hands on a Spinlash), they are available at your local Target!

My lashes are incredible. I’ll be the first to admit it! To make them look their longest, I apply mascara and then press them up with my knuckle. It is messy, but the effect is stunning!

I wipe my mascara wand off with a tissue to remove excess mascara and have a q-tip dipped in eye makeup remover ready for quick clean ups if I get mascara onto my lids my accident. Please enter me into your contest. Thank you.

Once I left my mascara on the counter my four year old daughter got it. I walked in she had the wand and had mascara all over her legs. Now I alway remeber to put it up.

Once I had just applied my mascara and left the bathroom. I sneezed a couple of times and didn’t think about it. I went to work and when I took a break later that morning, I saw that I had mascara lash marks all over the place under both eyes. I felt like such a fool.

Using a business card while applying mascara will help prevent it from getting all over your lids!

I have a probably with my mascaras drying out too quickly!

Then I read a tip to drop a few drops of contact lens solution in your mascara bottle and stir it with the mascara wand.

Haven’t had that problem ever since!!

I apply a clear mascara for a base coat then a black mascara over that. Bourjois makes a good white base coat too

I wipe off the wand with tissue before I apply it. It helps keep off the clumps.

I FIND THE BEST INEXPENSIVE MASCARA IS MAYBELLINE XXL CURL POWER. IT COMES WITH A BASE THEN YOU LET THAT HARDEN THEN APPLY THE MASCARA. IT MAKES MY THIN SHORT LASHES, LOOK LONG AND THICK. TRY IT OUT. I RECOMMEND IT TO ALL MY FRIENDS. AND NO I DO NOT WORK FOR MAYBELLINE WHATSOEVER.
