The weather is crazy here in New England this year: the days are warm but the nights are so chilly! That is why I love my new Sedona House Faux Fur Throw Blanket.

The throw blanket comes neatly wrapped and folded. Inside the packaging, it’s secured until use with criss-cross band wide strap. The outer packaging is a thick, durable clear plastic casing that is sturdy enough to keep and use for summer storage. It is an amazing gift! It would be fantastic for college students, or as a housewarming gift. It would be a very welcome get-well gift!

DESIGN

The blanket has two soft, luxurious sides. One side is sumptuous and beautiful faux fur. The other side is an exquisitely silky microfiber that feels so good against your skin.Â

The faux fur side comes in four patterns. They are “Coffee Stripe”, “Grey Leopard”, “Grey Stripe”, and “Sand Leopard”.Â

The Sand Leopard is an animal print pattern faux fur. The reverse side is silky microfiber. It is a versatile solid pale tan/deep champagne shade on the reverse side. The seams are nicely done, so it can be reversibly displayed depending on your mood. I like how it looks with fall color palette bedding.

The fur doesn’t shed at all, which can be a problem with lesser quality faux fur blankets. But the fur stays in place, which is impressive and shows the high quality of the item.Â

ABOUT THIS MOODOWELL DUVET SET

This three piece set includes two shams and one duvet cover. The set comes in both King and Queen sizes. I got the Queen size to fit either on my bed or to use on the pullout couch in the spare guestroom. The duvet cover measures 90 by 90 inch.

The two matching shams in this set measure 20 by 26 inch and have a with a 2-inch flange. These are large enough to conceal regular pillows behind them and give a matching look to the bed. I like how they coordinate with so many sheet sets I have, creating a lovely bedding oasis.

QUALITY

The fabric is similar to those found in hotels boasting quality linens, but unlike some duvet sets that require dry cleaning, this Moodowell set is very easy to launder at home, so don’t be afraid to use this set when drinking coffee in bed, for breakfast in bed, or for guests.

DESIGN

The diamond-cut pattern is comprised of two interlocking shapes of a crisp true white and a vibrant blue, creating a contemporary geometric pattern that is modern but can also match classic styling, giving a fresh look to traditional furniture.

Both the shams and the duvet are made of brushed microfiber polyester that is so soft and gentle to the skin, and it is very comfortable and cozy when sleeping.

CONSTRUCTION

A duvet of your choice fits into the cover discretely underneath the zipper closure. The zipper is concealed by a fabric overflap so that the zipper does not show or scratch the skin.

The shams cover a pillow with a generous fabric slot and over flap to keep the pillow in place. There is a two-inch flange on all sides.Â The stitching is well-done with no loose threads.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Despite their hotel bedding appearance, this set is very easy to care for. It is machine wash on the gentle or delicate setting. Remove promptly, and tumble dry on normal, low heat.

PUTTING THE DUVET SET TO THE TEST

The duvet cover fit my generous, very fluffy down duvet comforter, even though it is a bit over-sized for a queen duvet, it still fits nicely and it does not shift or travel downwards during use. Some duvet covers have a problem with duvets bunching up on one side or settling down into the bottom of the duvet cover and becoming unevenly distributed, I did not experience that problem with this set.

The fluffy light comfort of the down was not crushed in this duvet cover, something else I appreciated about Moodowell covers. Lastly, the vibrant blue of the duvet cover did not rub off or stain my pristine white down duvet.

Cozy, comfortable, soft to the touch and so attractive! The color really brightens up the room.

Fill the diffuser with water to the “MAX FILL” line seen clearly demarked on the inside of the fill receptacle.
Add 3-6 drops of your desired essential oil.
Plug in the diffuser.
The Island Miracles Oil Diffuser is very easy to operate. There is one large, simple button on the front of the diffuser, press it once to turn it on. The colored light will appear and will change from one color to the next.
To select a color, wait until the desired color appears in the rotation, and press the button once.
To run the diffuser without the colored light, lightly press the button for the third time.
To shut the diffuser off, press the button a fourth time.

Diffuser set up is easy, although instructions are included if necessary.

RESULTS

The Island Treasures Oil Diffuser scents the room very quickly by dispersing the oils into the air with a micro-fine mist of steam moisture. The steam is a fine enough mist to absorb into the air without leaving the room damp, as some humidifiers can do, yet it adds enough moisture to help soothe a dry cough or make a dry room more comfortable. The scent is not overpowering, it just takes a few drops of oil, and the mist is consistent without spurting or leaking. The diffuser is quiet, the only indication that it is on is the optional colored light and the light stream of steam, there is no noise. I like this feature for using the diffuser while trying to get restful sleep.

POTENTIAL ESSENTIAL OILS TO DIFFUSE AROUND THE HOME

Lavender Oil, Ylang-Ylang, and citrus oil scents are soothing and helpful for restful sleep, spa-day, or making a long soak in the tub more luxurious.
Chamomile promotes a stress-free environment

CONCLUSION: The Island Treasures Oil Diffuser is an attractive piece with a modern floral leaf design. It is sturdy and well-constructed. I really like the silent feature and easy clean-up. The one button use makes it easy to use and adjust without too much fuss. To me, these are standout features.

Suitable for all-season use, it is particularly useful in dry winters when forced air heat can make a room feel stuffy, and no fresh air reaches the room, making the air feel stale. The diffuser makes a thoughtful gift for someone in a new apartment or dorm.
