Seaweed

Seaweed

Seaweed is full of humectants and draws water to the skin. It contains Vitamin E and amino acids that help Seaweed plump fine wrinkles.

Green Tea

Green tea contains polyphenols that soothe skin while providing antioxidants. Polyphenols may improve sun-damaged skin. [1] High in Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), green tea is a major player in skin health and appearance. EGCG is the potent antioxidant from green tea. It protects against environmental damage and neutralizes free radicals that prematurely age skin. Research shows EGCG reactivates dying skin cells. This shows promise for repairing sun damage and scar healing. [2]

Green Tea

White Tea

White tea is exceptionally gentle yet powerful. It helps even the skin tone. It is anti-inflammatory and antioxidant. It can reduce redness and inflammation around the delicate eye area, even if caused by light eczema. White tea also contains EGCG, which enables the production of new cells in the epidermis [3]. It also contains phenols which strengthen collagen and uniquely, elastin. This gives skin a bouncy, younger look while delaying wrinkles.

Mallow

Mallow

This natural floral extract contains Vitamins A, C, and E. It softens while being gentle enough for the most sensitive of skin. It nourishes dry and even damaged skin, restoring elasticity.

My EyeLight Serum experience

I use it before applying my eye cream. It is gentle but brightening. It does not sting even when my eyes are extra sensitive. It de-puffs my morning eyes but does not leave them feeling dry like some depuffing products can. My skin is smooth and dewy.

The rollerball is quick and distributes just the right amount of product. It dries down smooth, not at all tacky or sticky. Eye cream or makeup goes on top of the serum smoothly with no pilling.

My lower eye skin is crazy sensitive this year. I need something to boost hydration but isn’t stingy.

Can you keep it in the fridge so you can use it cold? I like doing that with eye products.

Mallow is such a pretty flower – I knew it was a good skin ingredient, but I never knew what kind of flower it was. 🙂

It’s been a lifesaver in the changing weather. 🙂 My eye skin always suffers when we have weird weather (cold one day, warm the next day) but this has kept my eye skin smooth and balanced.
