TEN THINGS WE LIKE ABOUT THE KINGDOMCARES FACIAL STEAMER:

It has a built-in mirror. This is really nice because it means that you can do your steam facial anywhere and you have the ability to relax. You aren’t confined to standing in front of the bathroom mirror. If you apply a topical skincare serum before or after you steam your face, the built-in mirror makes it much easier!

It has an adjustable angle nozzle. This is nice because you can adjust the nozzle to your comfort. A lot of at-home facial steamers have fixed nozzles, so you have to adjust your position to accommodate the steam. That isn’t relaxing! The adjustable nozzle on the KINGDOMCARES Facial Steamer allows you to relax and sit comfortably. It also allows you to adjust the area you are treating – perhaps you are only steaming the lower portion of your face, or you are doing a throat treatment. You can position it comfortably without a problem.

Its’ easy-to-refill, no mess water tank holds enough water for a full uninterrupted steam session and then shuts off. This is your time to relax and beautify. You shouldn’t have to be looking at the clock or waiting for your phone alarm to go off. Fill the tank and it will automatically shut off when your treatment time is over.

It has ceramic heating elements to produce nano-ionic steam. You are probably familiar with the concept of ceramic nano-ionic steam from higher-end straightening irons. In this case, it produces a finer mist that more easily penetrates your skin, and drives any topical products in deeper.
It has a strong and even stream. We have tried other facial steamers that barely produce any steam, or the steam is inconsistent. The steam from the KINGDOMCARES Facial Steamer is on-par with a professional machine in terms of strength, and the steam is consistent from beginning to the end of treatment.
It produces a deep clean. I like to take off my makeup with Micellar Water and then use the KINGDOMCARES Facial Steamer to steam out any extra dirt, makeup, or buildup that is left on my face at the end of the day. Then I use a very gentle cleanser to wash away what the steam brought to the surface, and then I apply my nighttime skincare products onto my clean skin. My skin is so smooth after!
It is sanitary. The unit has a sanitizing feature inside, so the steam that is produced is clean and will not add bacteria to your face. This is a fantastic feature because if the steam on your face has bacteria or mold spores, they will get into your pores! You can be assured that you are getting a cleansing steam with this product, not one that will leave you with more skincare problems!
It is silent. This is a dealbreaker for me when it comes to a relaxing steam treatment. If I’m going to enjoy at-home spa time, I don’t want loud machine noises disrupting my relaxation!
It allows for gentler blackhead extraction and exfoliation. We can’t advocate at-home blackhead and pimple extraction that should be left to a dermatologist, but some blackheads naturally work their way out if they are properly steamed out.
A tip: apply Jojoba Oil to areas that have blackheads, and then use the KINGDOMCARES Facial Steamer. When the treatment cycle is done, gently rub the area with your (washed) hands and you will be amazed at how many blackheads come out!

The Island Miracles Oil Diffuser has an attractive leaf pattern that allows the glow of the colored light to show. The light is enough to serve as a nightlight but it not too bright or glaring. There are several colored light shades including green, aqua, yellow, orange, red, magenta-pink, and bright soft white. There is an option for continuous color rotation or to select one color, or no light at all, just the diffuser mode.

HOW TO USE THE ISLAND MIRACLES OIL DIFFUSER

Fill the diffuser with water to the “MAX FILL” line seen clearly demarked on the inside of the fill receptacle.
Add 3-6 drops of your desired essential oil.
Plug in the diffuser.
The Island Miracles Oil Diffuser is very easy to operate. There is one large, simple button on the front of the diffuser, press it once to turn it on. The colored light will appear and will change from one color to the next.
To select a color, wait until the desired color appears in the rotation, and press the button once.
To run the diffuser without the colored light, lightly press the button for the third time.
To shut the diffuser off, press the button a fourth time.

Diffuser set up is easy, although instructions are included if necessary.

RESULTS

The Island Treasures Oil Diffuser scents the room very quickly by dispersing the oils into the air with a micro-fine mist of steam moisture. The steam is a fine enough mist to absorb into the air without leaving the room damp, as some humidifiers can do, yet it adds enough moisture to help soothe a dry cough or make a dry room more comfortable. The scent is not overpowering, it just takes a few drops of oil, and the mist is consistent without spurting or leaking. The diffuser is quiet, the only indication that it is on is the optional colored light and the light stream of steam, there is no noise. I like this feature for using the diffuser while trying to get restful sleep.

POTENTIAL ESSENTIAL OILS TO DIFFUSE AROUND THE HOME

Lavender Oil, Ylang-Ylang, and citrus oil scents are soothing and helpful for restful sleep, spa-day, or making a long soak in the tub more luxurious.
Chamomile promotes a stress-free environment
Peppermint Oil is invigorating, improves mental clarity, and can eliminate the cook odors of fish or other strong food scents. Diffusing Peppermint Oil is also a natural way to deter pests such as bugs and mice without being harmful to children or pets.
Lemon is a favorite scent that makes the house smell clean and inviting with a fresh scent that is not overpowering
Eucalyptus Oil is very helpful for congestion due to allergies, colds, or respiratory issues.
Tea Tree Oil is useful when there is an illness in the house; it is antibacterial and anti-fungal. It can help eliminate airborne virus and bacteria. It is also very helpful for deterring mold and mildew in basements and bathrooms, especially in the shower.

CONCLUSION: The Island Treasures Oil Diffuser is an attractive piece with a modern floral leaf design. It is sturdy and well-constructed. I really like the silent feature and easy clean-up. The one button use makes it easy to use and adjust without too much fuss. To me, these are standout features.

Suitable for all-season use, it is particularly useful in dry winters when forced air heat can make a room feel stuffy, and no fresh air reaches the room, making the air feel stale. The diffuser makes a thoughtful gift for someone in a new apartment or dorm.

Naturalico Shiatsu Neck & Shoulder Massager

I try to get a professional massage as often as I can, but there are times that a quick, at home massage will have to do. There are a lot of massage devices on the market, and it is a bit like Goldilocks – some are too hard, some are too soft. Finding a massager with just the right amount of pressure is hard, and even if it is the right amount of pressure, getting it in the right position is tough. This is why I love the Naturalico Shiatsu Neck & Shoulder Massager.

While Neck and Shoulder are in the name, it can be used on multiple parts of the body. My favorite spot in on my feet, after a long day in high heels. It massages all the soreness out of my insoles and even my ankles. And it can go all the way up the leg too for post-workout soreness.

One thing that differentiates this massager from others is that it has 3-D contouring to fit around your neck and shoulders better than other massagers. It fits the contours of your neck as opposed to being a flat surface that you have to lean into, which defeats the purpose of relaxing your muscles during a massage. This is a very nice feature.

I have a long commute home and frequently get stuck in traffic. One of the other big points in favor of this massager is that it comes with a car adapter. So if I’m feeling sore from a long day, being able to use this in the car is a great feature. I’m looking forward to using the soothing heat feature when the weather turns cold, as well.
