Use

After cleansing and toning, smooth a few drops of facial oil or luxe cream into the skin. Glide the roller gently outwards on the face and down the throat. Don’t press vigorously, a gentle smooth motion works best.

MY EXPERIENCE

The roller is non-squeaky and moves smoothly.

Morning

I pop my roller in the refrigerator at night to use it chilled in the morning. Using it in the morning depuffs my skin. It eases pillow wrinkles on my face and reduces eye puffiness. I feel and look more awake. It also helps with clogged sinuses.

Evening

Facial rolling is relaxing and de-stressing!

It makes putting on my night time creams and serums feel like a spa-like ritual. It also helps me distribute the creams easily. Since the roller doesn’t absorb any product, none of my precious cream or serum goes to waste. It also helps my product absorb into the skin. I LOVE using the roller with squalene and oils, as well as hyaluronic acid paired products.

MATERIALS

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE SEDONA WEIGHTED BLANKET

I don’t like the feel of heavy blankets on me, so I didn’t know if I would like the sensation of a weighted blanket. I was pleasantly surprised by how cozy the Sedona Weighted Blanket feels. I did not find the blanket too heavy to sleep under. It is not bulky at all. I expected to feel claustrophobic but I wasn’t aware of the weight at all. The soft micromink is cozy and warm, not scratchy at all. 

It feels snuggly and hug-like. It sort of sinks in around me while I am drifting to sleep which keeps me warm on these New England chilly evenings. It is VERY relaxing. I LOVE using it while reading in my favorite chair or when I want a stress free stay at home Netflix movie night.

I often work on my computer on papers or projects late into the evening until it is time to go to sleep. But it is often difficult to relax after working so late. I find using the blanket helps me switch gears and get into rest mode. It is even helpful to use the blanket for an hour or so before bed to start to wind down and relax.

We had the opportunity to ask Doctor Wong a few questions:

1) From your standpoint, what is the most exciting new development in the fight against hair loss?

​For me, cell regeneration technology will transform the way hair loss will be treated in the near future, regardless of the cause of hair loss. There are a number of different techniques but essentially they all involve harvesting cells which have the ability to form new hair follicles, expanding the number of those cells and reinjecting back into that person’s scalp. These cells could be stem cells or dermal papilla cells from the hair follicle or stem cells derived from fat. 

2) What would you say to the women reading this that are experiencing hair loss and feel too embarrassed to talk about it?

​Hair loss is common and you are definitely not alone. It is important to recognize that when hair loss is starting to have a negative effect on you/your life then it’s time to do something about it and there is absolutely no shame in having or talking about hair loss. More often than not there will be something that can be done to support someone with hair loss whether this be medical, cosmetic and or psychological support.
