The fourth product we were sent for review by Citrus Clear is their Citrus Clear Pore & Blackhead Extracting Mask. I use this mask about twice a week and love the results.
Citrus Clear Pore & Blackhead Extracting Mask reminds me of Liz Earle’s Intensive Nourishing Treatment Mask. Both hydrate the skin and tighten pores so leave a youthful, glowing finish. I have noticed that several small (and stubborn) blackheads have extracted after use, which is impressive for a non-abrasive mask.
An interesting ingredient I noticed in the list is Spirulina, which I use in either pill or powder form as an anti-inflammatory and always gives my skin a glow. It seems to work just as impressively topically as it does internally (and Spirulina tastes horrible, so I’ll take topical any day if the results are the same.)
I use the mask as a negotiating tactic to get myself out of bed on early mornings – I set my alarm, turn on the coffee pot, apply the mask, and rest for a few minutes while the mask works its’ magic. It’s a relaxing way to start the day, and when I head in the shower, I simply wash it off with a soft washcloth. I find that my skin is more supple if I don’t use cleanser after, simply washing off the mask is enough cleansing for the morning.
I’m really thrilled with Citrus Clear is their Citrus Clear Pore & Blackhead Extracting Mask for both the hydrating and extracting properties. I’ll definitely pick more up when I empty out the jar.

Ingredients:
Organic Citrus Infusion, Organic Aloe Vera, Kaolin clay, Sodium Magnesium Silicate, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Cellulose Gum, Purified Smectite Clay, Vanilla, Sweet Orange Essential Oil, Wildcrafted Lemon Balm Extract, Orange Hydrosol, Lemon Essential Oil, Citrus Lime Essential Oil, Mandarin Essential Oil, Orange Peel Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin, Spirulina, Sea Kelp, Grapeseed Oil.
The third great Citrus Clear product we were sent for review is the Citrus Clear Sensitive Moisturizer. Before I received the moisturizer, my skin was a bit red and irritated. After using the product for a couple of days my skin was dewy, clear, and supple.
I was wondering how it worked so effectively, so I took a look at the ingredient list and saw a few winning ingredients, including organic safflower oil, Vitamin C, organic hyaluronic acid, and green tea. These are potent, effective ingredients. The result? Youthful appearing skin – and fast.
What I really love about Citrus Clear Sensitive Moisturizer (apart from the fabulous grapefruit scent) is that it is light enough to wear under sunscreen without getting greasy, even on those days last week when it was 88 degrees out. It truly absorbs, but keeps skin supple even in my supple-skin enemy – freezing cold office A/C.
You know how every hand-care article you read says to rub remaining face cream on your hands? Yeah, I never do that. But with Citrus Clear Sensitive Moisturizer, I started, because it really absorbs – no greasy hands.
I’m really thrilled with this moisturizer, and I’m sure the natural ingredients are keeping my skin from getting irritated. It’s also great for mid-day touch ups: put a little bit on a Beauty Blender and dab it on your skin and your skin will glow. It’s also smooths out crows feet if you tap a wee bit on!
