Style Chicks 2014 Product of the Year: NuFace Trinity
We’ve been using the NuFace Trinity for awhile now and continue to be in awe. Of anything we tried last year, NuFace is hands down the best thing we purchased.
So many products promise minor changes in weeks, months, but NuFace delivers results immediately and builds over time. I’ve read other reviews that say the results last around 12 hours, but I find that it lasts far longer. Here are some of the other things we have found:
Best thing: I DISCOVERED MY CHIN AND JAWLINE! It’s not like I had a weak chin or jawline, it just wasn’t my best feature. Even in childhood – I was a skinny little stick but my jawline was never terribly sharp. With use of the NuFace Trinity 2-3 times a week, my chin is defined and tight, and my jawline is defined and a feature I now like.
I truly never thought outside of plastic surgery that I could define my jawline, and considering it was not a matter of slack skin or fat, I don’t even know if there is a surgery that could accomplish the same results. Now, surgery is not something I ever really considered, but in every woman’s list of “things I would slightly change if was granted 15 aesthetic wishes” category, jaw and chin would fall under mine. Well, I guess the Beauty Genie and my credit card granted me one of my wishes when I ordered my NuFace. 🙂
I was originally going to cover everything that is wonderful about the NuFace Trinity in one post, but I think I will break it down into a few posts so I can go into more detail.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on one (and just take my word for it, you want one), pick one up at Neiman Marcus.

Product Review: Luminess Air X-Out
At the end of the year I picked up a few items (well, maybe more than a few) at Luminess Air. One of them was new to me – Luminess Air X-Out, for under eyes. It’s not quite a concealer, it’s not quite an eye primer…let me explain.
X-Out is to be used with your Luminess Air airbrush around the eye. I picked the Light color, because let’s face it, I’m ridiculously pale. It is actually a peach color, which works well for the reason I’m about to mention.
Here is what I found interesting about X-Out: do you remember when YSL touchE Eclat made you look like you slept for 12 blissful hours, at which point you jumped out of bed full of energy (when in reality you were up until 3am for whatever reason)? Adding a drop of X-Out under Eclat gives the same super-bright eyed look. I am thrilled.
I found after a day in a very, very dry office that it got a bit dry, but nothing that a dab of moisturizer on a Beauty Blender couldn’t fix. As you see in the swatch below, it is a thin enough formulation that the moisture bleeds onto paper. Also, After about a week I went to open the bottle and the entire bottle ripped in half, which unfortunately has happened before on the large Luminess bottles I have used. I will probably pay a bit more and get the small bottles from now on to prevent it from happening again. I couldn’t retrieve much from the bottle, but I did experiment a bit with what I could retrieve, and mixed it with Hyaluronic Acid Serum(manually applied, not airbrush applied) and it stayed dewy all day.
Find Luminess Air X-Out at HSN.com.
