The other day my dermatologist was showing the latest feature of her skin analysis machine: the bacteria analyzer. There is both good and bad bacteria on everyone’s face, and she was impressed at how low my bad bacteria score was. There are a lot of ways that bacteria gets on your face: touching your face with your hands, not changing out your pillowcase enough, but a big one is dirty makeup brushes. How to Clean Make up Brushes Fast

Here’s how it works best for us:

1) Find the collar that properly fits your makeup brush and insert the end of the brush handle into the collar. Attach it to the MiraCleaner.

2) Fill the bowl halfway with soap and water.

3) Insert the brush into the soapy water and turn on the brush cleaner. Choose the level of power you want depending on how much and what kind of product are on the bristles and how delicate the brush is.

4) Keep the brush in the water for ten seconds, and then turn the brush cleaner to check if the brush is clean. If it isn’t, put it back in the water and clean for another five seconds.

5) Once the brush is clean, take it out of the water and press the power button again to dry it. My fluffy blush brush was dry in less than 15 seconds.

What I really love about how fast this device works is that I can use a brush for one product, like foundation, and then I can clean it and use the same brush for a different product, like liquid blush, in the same sitting. My skin doesn’t get oily but remains dewy all day. It is also a fantastic lip primer. I haven’t had completely smooth lips since I was four, but Wild Beaute Coconut Tangerine Melt makes my lips smooth and ready for lipstick!

Intense Moisture Mask: As a soothing Sunday Night treat, I take a generous amount of Coconut Tangerine Melt, melt it slightly between my fingers, and smooth it over my face. Then I place a hot washcloth over my face, put on some relaxing music, and rest for twenty minutes.

The Experience

It is also fantastic for second-day hair. I take a small amount and emulsify it between my hands, and then scrunch it into my hair and massage my scalp with it. My hair looks bouncy, shiny, and smells fantastic. It works the same if you want straight hair, just use a light hand.

Do you love handmade jewelry or vintage jewelry finds? Several heirloom pieces, second-hand jewels, vintage pieces as well as handmade jewelry often do not come with the original box to keep the jewelry safe, or the gift box or bag is just intended to present the jewelry, not to protect it in storage. I like the soft velvet interior and the multiple compartments of the Langria Jewelry Box that makes for ideal storage for “loose” or unboxed jewelry.

Something that frustrates me about many jewelry cases is that the layout often doesn’t suit the needs of my jewelry collection. The LangriaÂ Jewelry Box has ten sections that comprise seven types of storage compartments within the three layers of the jewelry case. This functional, multi-compartment design keeps jewelry organized and separate from other pieces to avoid scratching or tangling.

THE LANGRIA JEWELRY CASE LAYOUT

On the underside of the case lid, below the mirror, there is an elasticized fabric pouch pocket for holding especially small or delicate items such as small sentimental keepsake items, shoe clips, or hair jewelry. The elastic is secure, and items do not slip out when the case is closed.

The uppermost section of compartments is open-face.

In the rear of the case is a velvet lined ring roll section with eleven slots to hold rings, earrings, or pins/broaches. For small, simple rings, two rings may fit per slot. The padding is deep so that even a larger ring is securely kept in place with adequate room between each ring.
The front of the uppermost section divides into thirds:
- The left front third is a full velvet lined compartment for holding larger pins, broaches, necklaces, or dangling earrings.
- The middle front third section has a lid with a handle to provide extra protection for one or two small to mid-size pieces.
- The right front third section has three removable horizontal dividers that could hold cufflinks, earrings, necklaces, and bracelets.

Beneath the top open-face compartment section are two pull-out drawers (one narrow full-width drawer and one deep drawer with two sections).

The narrow drawer easily holds several necklaces and bracelets.
The deep drawer is suitable for jewelry in a drawstring bag, ring or bracelet boxes, or for holding loose pieces such as bracelets, broaches, bangles or a watch.
