Women’s Rush Relief Joint Health Formula by Dr. Benjamin Rush

December 18, 2019 · 6 Comments

Inflammation is an enemy. It is a component of several health issues and discomfort. Many factors cause excess inflammation in women. Research shows specific ingredients reduce inflammation. Women’s Rush Relief is a formulation of effective, natural anti-inflammatories. Its designed to stop the damaging impact of inflammation and relieve pain.

Many chronic health issues and acute injuries have a common factor: inflammation exists. Inflammation can damage and deteriorate the body, weaken cartilage, impair productivity and function as well as cause discomfort. But inflammation can be greatly reduced.

The Ginger in this formulation benefits menstrual discomfort and other inflammatory responses

The formulation contains Ginger and other anti-inflammatories to naturally reduce inflammation and pain.

Who Benefits from Women’s Rush Relief?

This Joint Health Formula is designed for women who have joint pain. But these ingredients also benefit a host of other health issues that have an inflammatory response.

Injury, Illness & Aging

If you’ve experienced an injury, especially to a joint, there’s typically inflammatory discomfort. Anti-inflammatories reduce the inflammation response and associated pain and allow healing and restore better function.

Even without injury or illness, several factors increase inflammation over time for women including age, weight, hormones, menstrual discomfort and metabolism.[1]

If back or knee pain is limiting your function or activity level, you’re not alone. Dr. Rush’s Formula is designed for women who need support to sustain optimal function.

migraine headaches

Many women experience hormonal migraines or headaches. The inflammatory component of headaches and migraines is painful and severely debilitating. But the right combinations and dosages of specific natural anti-inflammatories can relieve migraine pain.

Research shows turmeric as effective as one prescription migraine medication (beta-blocker class). It curtailed the inflammation response in 2 out of 3 migraine stages. [2] Women’s Rush Relief contains turmeric and several other supporting anti-inflammatory ingredients.

Post Workout Recovery

Are you sore a day or two AFTER a workout? This is called Delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). This includes the soreness after a strenuous “leg day”, pilates, barre, and yoga. Ease the pain of inflammation naturally. Faster recuperation means less discomfort and less down-time between workouts.

Two soft capsules daily reduces inflammation and optimizes function

Skin

Here is a lovely bonus. These ingredients also address skin inflammation and therefore offer anti-aging skin benefits. Removing skin inflammation keeps skin younger and fresher with less sagging, dullness, and fewer wrinkles. Don’t age before your time – stop inflammation in its’ tracks!

Women’s Rush Relief contains a research-backed turmeric dosage to stop the painful inflammation stage of a headache.

Getting Your Daily Anti-Inflammatory Dose

A diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods is a wonderful first step to feeling better. But the most effective anti-inflammatories are often lacking or completely missing from our dietary intake. Women’s Rush Relief contains effective, research-backed, natural anti-inflammatories.

Let’s examine this formulation’s contents and see independent supporting research behind the efficacy of each ingredient.

INGREDIENTS

Turmeric Root

Turmeric root

Turmeric Root is an amazing antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. It is flavorful and tangy, but an acquired taste. Consuming larger quantities is necessary for true anti-inflammatory benefits. This golden root addresses inflammation pathways to reduce pain and inflammation.

Curcumin is the primary active in Turmeric Curcumin has been studied for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities and analgesic effects.

Glucosamine Sulfate

Glucosamine is a shellfish* product. It maintains healthy cartilage by rebuilding cartilage lost due to age or injury. It increases type II collagen and proteoglycan synthesis while reducing pro-inflammatory factors. It improves the anabolic/catabolic balance of the extracellular cartilage matrix (ECM). [3]

Chondroitin Sulfate

Chondroitin stimulates healthy cartilage and aids in post-workout recovery. It is paired with Glucosamine to support injured or aging joints. Clinical trials report chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine sulfate offer pain control and increased function. [4]

Ginger Extract

Ginger root

Ginger root is available fresh or in ground powder form. Ginger reduces inflammation. Studies show two components of ginger, gingerol and zingerone reduce the inflammation to a number of common diseases and ailments. Ginger eases menstrual pain.

Do you experience soreness after a good workout? Studies show daily ginger consumption resulted in moderate-to-large reductions in muscle pain following exercise-induced muscle injury. Ginger is also an effective pain reliever in osteoarthritis patients. [6]

Boswellia Extract

Boswellia is an herbal extract from the Boswellia serrata tree. It has long been used in folk medicine. It’s believed to treat chronic inflammatory illnesses and certain health conditions because it demonstrates potent anti-inflammatory actions. It even demonstrates certain anti-cancer activities. [7]

A research study showed Boswellia helps osteoarthritis. In the said study, OA knee pain decreased after 90 days use of the Boswellia product. It also reduced the levels of a cartilage-degrading enzyme. [8]

MSM

MSM is Methylsulfonylmethane. MSM is a natural sulfur found in some plants, nuts and cruciferous vegetables. It supports healthy tissue development including skin, joint, and lumbar tissue. Some studies show MSM reduces breast cancer inflammation. [9] Another study of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee took MSM for 12 weeks and showed an improvement in pain and physical function. [10]

Bioperine

Bioperine is another name for piperine. Piperine is a compound that comes from black pepper. It increases absorption.  Its role in this formulation is Turmeric support. The Curcumin in Turmeric is poorly absorbed when taken alone. Bioperine boosts absorption up to 2000%. [11] Bioperine is key to maximum turmeric benefit.

Black peppercorns contain piperine AKA Bioperine, which naturally enhances absorption for maximum benefit

Quercetin

Quercetin is a polyphenolic antioxidant or flavonoid antioxidant [12] found in plant foods, including leafy greens, tomatoes, berries, broccoli. red wine, green tea, and kale. [13] It is an exceptionally powerful antioxidant to fight oxidative damage and free radicals. [13, 14]

Methionine

Methionine is an amino acid involved in body functions such as the synthesis of important vitamins like Vitamin B12. Methionine is naturally found in spinach, zucchini, meat, fish, mushrooms, and asparagus.

Bromelain is found in the pineapple core

Bromelain

Bromelain is a protein-digesting enzyme extracted from the flesh and stem of the pineapple plant. Bromelain reduces inflammation and swelling by breaking down the inflammation-causing molecules within the body. [15] It promotes wound healing, easing digestion, reducing muscular or joint pain, skin injuries and reduces allergies or asthma. [16]

Our Experience

We find this formulation particularly helpful with post-workout soreness. Instead of taking Advil after regular workouts, we find this formulation a particularly helpful and safe remedy to DOMS.

Women’s Rush Relief is an easy way to get daily Turmeric benefits without the fuss of powders or smoothie preparations.

It is easy to use. We try to regularly incorporate ginger and turmeric into smoothies. But even when fresh turmeric is available, it is time-consuming to grate it. Women’s Rush Relief gives all the benefits without the work.

Headaches are painful and disruptive. This formula reduces the frequency, duration, and intensity of hormonally influenced headaches. Most prescription migraine medications have undesirable side effects. Finding a natural remedy that is as effective as some prescription migraine medicines is an exciting find for headache sufferers.

I am also pleased to reduce my Advil or ibuprofen intake in favor of an equally effective natural treatment for general aches and pains.

Aside from feeling generally better and gaining a faster recuperation from my post-workout soreness, my skin has a lovely glow!

Research shows the combination of bromelain, turmeric, and quercetin work synergistically for maximum efficacy & optimal results

A Supplement to Function Optimally

Why live with discomfort? Don’t let an old injury, a headache or other health problems keep you from being as active as possible. Natural anti-inflammatories are a safe way to cope with a range of issues without the side effect profile of over-the-counter NSAIDS or prescription medications.
