Turmeric root

Curcumin is the primary active in Turmeric Curcumin has been studied for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities and analgesic effects.

Glucosamine Sulfate

Glucosamine is a shellfish* product. It maintains healthy cartilage by rebuilding cartilage lost due to age or injury. It increases type II collagen and proteoglycan synthesis while reducing pro-inflammatory factors. It improves the anabolic/catabolic balance of the extracellular cartilage matrix (ECM). [3]

Chondroitin Sulfate

Chondroitin stimulates healthy cartilage and aids in post-workout recovery. It is paired with Glucosamine to support injured or aging joints. Clinical trials report chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine sulfate offer pain control and increased function. [4]

Some studies show MSM reduces breast cancer inflammation. [9] Another study of patients with osteoarthritis of the knee took MSM for 12 weeks and showed an improvement in pain and physical function. Bioperine

Bioperine is another name for piperine. Piperine is a compound that comes from black pepper. It increases absorption.  Its role in this formulation is Turmeric support. We find this formulation particularly helpful with post-workout soreness. Instead of taking Advil after regular workouts, we find this formulation a particularly helpful and safe remedy to DOMS.
