Vinotherapy, Vinotherapie
Vinotherapy is an anti-aging treatment where the residue of wine-making (pulps, seeds, and stems) are massaged into the skin to exfoliate, cleanse and impart skin enhancing nutrients. Some Vinotherapy spa treatments include first bathing in a preservative and chemical free wine to soak in free-radical fighting nutrients. The polyphenols protect the skin against oxidation and preserve natural hyaluronic acid. Vinotherapy is helpful for skin that has been compromised to help restore the skin barrier to function.
