Rustic Maka Ready to Glow
Rustic Maka Ready to Glow is an exceptionally dry oil that leaves face and body skin luminous and supple while it promotes collagen production with a cocktail of powerful natural ingredients.
Why It is Special
Rustic Maka Ready to Glow:
- Promotes collagen production on face and body skin
- Ideal for Lymphatic Face Massage
- Contains Organic Ingredients which are free of Phthalates & Synthetics
- It is a waterless product, so the treating ingredients are pure and not diluted. Formulations not diluted with water have the ability to be far more effective.
Let’s take a look at the ingredients in this formulation:
Key Ingredients
Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Fruit Extract
Kakadu plums are the highest natural source of vitamin C to support collagen synthesis and provide antioxidant support. It reduces acne, fades scars, and reduces fine lines.
Kakadu plums are also high in gallic acid and ellagic acid to fight free radicals, hydrate the skin and prevent the skin from damage.
Spirulina Platensis Extract
Spirulina is a plant-based protein full of amino acids, minerals, and vitamins. Spirulina contains anti-aging tyrosine, vitamin E or tocopherol, and selenium.
Spirulina applied topically removes darkness around the eyes and works as a natural toner. It can also be applied topically to the skin within a product or in a facial mask for skin nourishment and softness.
Camellia Oleifera (Camellia) Seed Oil
Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil smooths rough skin patches and repairs the skin barrier.
Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil
Meadowfoam Seed Oil is a very stable oil that lubricates skin without leaving a residue.
Prunus Armeniac (Apricot) Kernel Oil
An emollient that softens and smooths. Apricot Kernel oil is a light oil.
Apricot Kernel oil contains antioxidant vitamin E and nourishing fatty acids (mostly oleic acid 54-74%, linoleic acid 12-35%. It has nourishing and moisturizing properties and is quite easily absorbed into the skin.
Oenothera Biennis (Primrose) Oil
Evening Primrose Oil restores a glow to the skin. It is excellent as a topical ingredient to provide moisture without clogging the skin and is helpful for eczema and acne. It supports elastin, moisture, and skin firmness. [1]
Full of Omega-6 fatty acids, Evening Primrose Oil keeps skin healthy.
Prunus Domestica (Plum) Seed Oil
A hydrating anti-inflammatory, rich in omegas and Vitamin E. It heals skin, while the Vitamin A refines the skin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles while improving elasticity.
Calendula Officinalis (Calendula) Flowers
Calendula Extract comes from the Calendula flower, better known as marigold.
Calendula promotes the regeneration of new tissue and soothes damaged skin.
Studies have shown that calendula can increase collagen production and stimulates epithelial cell growth to promote cell turnover [2].
Tocopherol
Better known as Vitamin E.
Matricaria Recutita (Chamomile) Flowers
Chamomile is an antioxidant with potent skin-soothing action. [3] It contains Terpenoids, bisabolol and chamazulene.
Chamomile Extract is excellent in a formulation with powerful actives because it contains flavones. These flavones inhibit the production of inflammation, even in deeper skin layers. [4]
Meanwhile, The apigenin in Chamomile protects the skin barrier. [5] This gentle and hypoallergenic extract soothes skin, heals burns, and is great for helping skin recover and benefit from chemical peels. Chamomile Extract also kills acne-causing bacteria while soothing the skin. [6]
Plantago Major (Plantain) Leaf
A starchy cousin of the tropical banana. They are often called cooking bananas.
In addition to the comfrey-plantain collagen-producing and healing action described above, Plantains contain magnesium for muscle cramp relief.
Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flowers
Lavender Oil softens and conditions skin.
Lavender’s anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties keep skin healthy. It has soothing properties to calm any skin imbalances such as inflammation or dry skin flaking.
The linalyl acetate in lavender enhances cell growth in the skin.
Melissa Officinalis (Lemon Balm) Leaf
Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract is lemon balm leaf.
It contains caffeine & ferulic acid. It counteracts sun damage when applied topically within a skin formulation.
Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf
Sage is an herb with medicinal and beauty value. It reduces blemishes and swelling.
Sage also moisturizes and conditions the skin, soothing dryness and irritation.
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil
Sunflower Seed Oil is hydrating, nourishing, and an excellent supporting oil base. It retains moisture in the skin and is also rich in vitamin E.
Sunflower Oil softens skin irritated by drying topicals. It works well with Retinol because it hydrates and calms red, irritated skin.
Linoleic acid Gives sunflower seed oil anti-inflammatory properties. It is a natural treatment for atopic dermatitis. [7]
Bambusa Vulgaris (Bamboo) Extract
Bamboo Stem Extract has flavones, a source of natural antioxidants. Since the skin on both face and body is a major target of oxidative stress, the antioxidant protection provided by bamboo extract is excellent within this formulation. [8]
Bamboo extract contains glycosides, phenolic acids, and amino acids. These hold skin nourishing and soothing properties.
Bamboo extract is also hydrating.
The Experience
One pump is enough for face and throat. Nicely emollient on my chapped lips. There is a very light, pleasant scent of fresh plums, perhaps a hint of apricot.
It absorbs and leaves a finish more like a cream than an oil, I am not greasy at all. Sunscreen and makeup can be applied immediately without piling or running. Mixing a few drops of Ready to Glow with my foundation gives a soft, luminous look.
While intended for face AND body, there is such good ingredients, we use it primarily on face, throat and décolletage. It also works well on hands and dry cuticles. It absorbs exceptionally well. It is drier than hemi-squalene oil, so if you chose to use it on body and legs, you would not have to wait to dry down before getting dressed.
My skin looks supple after use, not “wet”.
TIP: Try it with your Gua Sha tools, it gives the perfect slip!

Pedicure Spa at Home: Equilibrian Foot Care Kit
Are you embarrassed to wear your favorite shoes because of cracked heels and dry feet? Keep feet in spa-worthy shape with the Equilibrian Foot Care Kit. It uses AHAs, BHAs, and essential oils and peels feet naturally with no shellfish based ingredients.
Feet don’t get much attention over winter, and foot skin quickly becomes neglected and unsightly. But who wants scaly feet during that mid-winter tropical vacation? Or during a yoga, barre or pilates class? Keep feet smooth and delicate all year long without a special trip to the salon. This kit contains everything you need to get soft feet.
ABOUT THIS SET
This Equilibrian Foot Care Kit keeps feet smooth all year long. It contains:
- Two pairs of foot peel masks
- Moisturizing gel socks
- One hydrating foot mask
- Bonus foot rasp file and a silicone scrubbing pad
STEP ONE: Foot Peel Mask
This mask contains AHAs, BHAs, natural extracts, and botanicals. It gently and safely penetrates dead skin cells to break down and remove the outer layers.
Foot Peel Ingredients
Glycolic Acid(AHA) Glycolic Acid (AHA) exfoliates by loosening the “glue” that adheres dry, dead skin to healthy skin, and then dissolves away the dead skin. There is also limited redness or irritation after use. Skin is brighter, younger, softer, and it glows like younger skin. Glycolic Acid also promotes collagen production.
Lactic acid exfoliates and brightens skin. It is gentler than glycolic acid. Lactic acid holds moisture while increasing firmness and skin thickness.
- Salicylic Acid is a bHA (beta hydroxy acid). Salicylic acid removes dry skin debris without excess drying. It helps build collagen. Salicylic acid works best when paired with another peeling agent.
Hyaluronic Acid retains moisture and increases the effectiveness of other ingredients. It holds so much moisture that it instantly plumps fine lines. Hyaluronic Acid also helps active ingredients sink deeper into the skin.
Castor Seed Oil is a humectant reduces inflammation, heals scars and hydrates.
Vitamin E softens skin texture and reduces acne scars. Vitamin E makes old acne scars softer and more pliable. Vitamin E makes rough, sunburned, scarred or otherwise damaged skin soft and pliable. Once the skin is pliable, other treating ingredients can work their magic.
STEP TWO: Moisturizing Gel Socks
One size fits all, they are suitable for women and men.
These hypo-allergenic gel lined socks are infused with essential oils and lotion for soft, healthy feet. They are reusable and washable and will hydrate feet for up to three months or sixty wearings.
Wear the moisturizing gel socks for one hour per session to keep feet smooth and soft. I like to use them once or twice a week. They have skid-proof treads on the bottom for safety.
Moisturizing Gel Sock Infused Ingredients
Grapeseed Oil is nourishing to the skin and contains building blocks for collagen production. High in Polyphenols, Vitamins C, D, E and Omega 6, it treats dry skin, wrinkles, discoloration, and aging. Grapeseed Oil Extract kills bacteria while softening skin.
Lavender Oil softens and conditions the skin.
Jojoba is excellent for body skin. Jojoba has a similar structure to sebum, replacing the natural oils the scalp needs to stay healthy. It removes impurities and skin flakes, reduces inflammation and soothes skin. Jojoba oil is an emollient, made of 98% monounsaturated fats. Jojoba is a carrier oil, increasing the efficacy of other active ingredients.
Olive Oil has skin enhancing Omega-3s and polyphenols. Olive Oil makes skin smooth and supple. Linoleic acid has an anti-inflammatory effect.
STEP THREE: Moisturizing Mask Booties
These disposable hydrating booties are fortified with powerful natural hydrating ingredients to moisturize and nourish foot skin. Wear them for 15 to 20 minutes, no need to rinse off feet after use.
Moisturizing Mask Booties Ingredients
Apricot Oil is an emollient that softens and smooths. It contains antioxidant vitamin E and nourishing fatty acids (mostly oleic acid 54-74%, linoleic acid 12-35%). It has nourishing and moisturizing properties and is quite easily absorbed into the skin.
Hyaluronic Acid retains moisture and increases the effectiveness of other ingredients. It holds so much moisture that it instantly plumps fine lines. Hyaluronic Acid also helps active ingredients sink deeper into the skin.
Castor Seed Oil is a humectant reduces inflammation, heals scars and hydrates.
Rosa Rugosa flower extract is rich in vitamin C, sucrose, citric acid, malic acid, and carotene. It promotes collagen production and reduces enlarged pores. It also makes the skin exceptionally smooth while removing excess inflammation.
Macadamia oil is very rich and contains many natural lipids and fatty acids. It’s a high oleic acid oil (50-67% oleic acid and only 0-5% linoleic acid) that makes it very emollient and helpful for dry skin types. Macadamia uniquely contains high amounts of the rare palmitoleic acid (12-25%) that give Macadamia oil a cushiony feel. It’s also easily absorbed and makes the skin soft and supple.
BONUS
Use the bonus tools to address calluses or especially rough patches of skin such as cracked heels.
MY EXPERIENCE
This three-step system gently removes dead skin, then the gel socks and moisturizing mask keep feet smooth.
After using the peel, my feet felt instantly smoother. The dead skin started to peel in a few days. Then they continued to peel for about two or three days. So much dead skin came off! Skin slowly exfoliates away layer by layer until all the dry skin is gone. I was especially impressed with how much smoother and softer my dry, cracked heels were immediately after using the peel.
There is no discomfort, stinging or burning while using the peel. It does not sting like AHAs and BHAs do on the face.
The peeling will continue for several days, however, and it is unattractive, so be prepared to cover the feet during this unsightly week. But afterward, the feet are so smooth!
How to Use the Peel
Open one STEP ONE package. There is one pair of booties folded inside. You can see the peel solution.
Soak feet, unfold the booties and tear or cut the tops. Slip the booties on the feet for 90 to 120 minutes. It does not sting or burn, you can put your feet up, relax and watch a movie. Then remove the booties and wash off your feet.
Next put on the gel socks.
The gel socks are comfortable and wearing them for an hour makes my feet softer and smooth.
I like that they are hypoallergenic, reusable, roomy and comfortable. The essential oils and infused lotion means I don’t have to add any extra lotions or creams for my feet to be soft after use.
The bonus tools are of good quality and manage calluses before they become unsightly. The foot rasp is particularly effective.
great gift
This three-step system gently removes dead skin, then the gel socks and moisturizing mask keep feet smooth. It comes nicely boxed and makes a great gift!

Post Pilates Relief: Vital Body Muscle & Joint Pain Relief CBD Cream
Today is National CBD Day!
Do your muscles ache after a long day or a good pilates workout?
Vital Body Muscle & Joint Pain Relief CBD Cream combines ginger, arnica and CBD for natural topical pain relief. This hand-made, small batch pain cream has hemp-derived CBD but there is ZERO cannabis scent. It doesn’t smell medicinal and it isn’t at all sticky or greasy. Read below to see how this natural formulation works for inflammation and other muscle and joint pain.
Ingredients
Lots of creams and rubs claim to ease pain. Why is this one different?
Vital Body Muscle & Joint Pain Relief CBD Cream uses eight organic herbs including arnica, ginger and comfrey.
It has 200 mg of hemp-derived CBD per bottle. The European Journal of Pain published a study which found that topical CBD application has therapeutic potential for relief of arthritis pain-related behaviours and inflammation without evident side-effects.[1]
Ginger has impressive benefits. Natural remedy expert Dr. Krishna C. Srivastava had a study that appeared in the Journal of Pain. It said ginger blocks the formation of the inflammatory compounds-prostaglandins and leukotrienes and also has antioxidant effects that break down existing joint inflammation.
Vital Body Muscle & Joint Pain Relief CBD Cream doesn’t stain clothes and it absorbs well.
Arnica
Arnica is an anti-inflammatory. Studies show it is helpful with osteoarthritis and knee pain. It reduces swelling.[2]
Comfrey
Comfrey is used in preparations for the topical treatment of pain, inflammation and swelling of muscles and joints in degenerative arthritis, acute myalgia in the back, sprains, contusions and strains after sports injuries and accidents [3]
Essential Oils.
A blend of essential oils to soothe sore muscles including:
- Lavender
- Eucalyptus
- Orange
- Cedarwood
- Vetiver
The cream has no weird odor and absorbs well. It is a conveniently sized jar that fits in my gym bag to fight post workout inflammation and soreness. Instead of popping ibuprofen or taking Tylenol for specific muscle or joint pain, Vital Body Muscle & Joint Pain Relief CBD Cream can ease muscle and joint aches naturally.

HOW DOES SUPERNATURAL Body GlÅ Body Oil WORK?
Want to know how it works? Read below for a detailed overview of the amazing ingredient combination in GlÅ Body Oil:
SUPERSTAR INGREDIENT BREAKDOWN
The Vital fab four
The heavy lifting of intense body skin rehab comes from these four ingredients. These are Sacha Inchi Oil, Sea Buckthorn, Grapeseed, and Jojoba. You’ve likely used the latter but know less about the former. Sachi Inchi and Sea Buckthorn are amazing additions to your skincare.
1. SACHA INCHI OIL
Sacha Inchi Oil contains Plant Sterols. These improve moisture retention and rebuilds skin’s natural lipid barriers. It keeps skin elastic with astounding levels of omega-3s and omega-6s and some omega-9s. Topical omegas actually prevent future sun damage. Other oils cannot compete with Sacha Inchi’s toxin-free high omega profile. This is important because omegas maintain ceramides, regulate sebum, and make skin glow.
Sacha Inchi Oil contains high levels of behenic acid, an anti-aging superstar. It also contains Vitamin A and E.
Sacha Inchi oil is lightweight and doesn’t clog pores. This is amazing because it has about three times the essential fatty acid content of coconut oil. This scent-free oil has exceptional moisturizing properties. It works on even chronically dry, sensitive and irritated skin. (1)
2. SEA BUCKTHORN
Sea Buckthorn contains over 200 skin-friendly nutrients. It restores skin and builds collagen. The omegas make skin glow from within. This non-irritating oil is an anti-inflammatory that treats acne, eczema, and psoriasis. See fine lines become smoother and softer.
Sea Buckthorn’s value in skincare has been documented in medical journals and books. One stated:
“Valuable substances contained in sea-buckthorn oil play an important role in the proper functioning of the human body and give skin a beautiful and healthy appearance. A balanced composition of fatty acids give the number of vitamins or their range in this oil and explains its frequent use in cosmetic products for the care of dry, flaky or rapidly aging skin. Moreover, its unique unsaturated fatty acids, such as palmitoleic acid (omega-7) and gamma-linolenic acid (omega-6), give sea-buckthorn oil skin regeneration and repair properties.” (2)
3. GRAPESEED OIL
Grapeseed Oil is often found in high-end brands with good reason. It is nourishing and contains building blocks for collagen production. High in Polyphenols, Vitamins C, D, E and Omega 6, it treats dry skin, wrinkles, discoloration, and aging. Being organic, as in this product, is especially important for grapeseed oils.
4. JOJOBA OIL
Jojoba Oil is close to the chemical composition of our natural oils. It regulates oily skin, removes impurities and flakes, reduces inflammation and soothes skin. It is also a carrier oil that helps other oils penetrate.
Supporting Ingredients
Vital cogs in this composite skincare product, these supporting ingredients provide an array of skin benefits. There are many benefits to these organic ingredients. Here are a few things they do for skin:
- Matcha Leaf Extract is a moisturizing acne treatment.
- Moringa Oleifera Leaf Extract contains Vitamin C to boost collagen. There are fatty oils to moisturize. Like Sacha Inchi, it contains high levels of behenic acid. Topical application promotes cellular growth. It also reduces fine lines, sagging skin, fades scars, reduces and inflammation.
- Emblica Officinalis, AKA Amla is high in Vitamin C to increase collagen and fades scars. Amla is nutrient-rich and restorative.
- Haritaki a natural toner and UV protectant.
- Bibhitaki Fruits Extract is high in Vitamin C and fights skin allergies.
- Kelp Extract minerals remove toxins. It lessens redness, inflammation, rosacea and protects against environmental damage.
- Sunflower Seed Oil is hydrating, nourishing and an excellent “supporting” oil base.
- Camellia Oleifera Seed Oil smooths rough skin patches and repairs the skin barrier.
- Flax Seed Oil promotes skin brightness, elasticity, firmness, and texture.
- Coconut Oil‘s moisturizing properties are well-known. It is also anti-inflammatory with mild UV protective properties.
- Castor Seed Oil reduces inflammation, heals scars and hydrates.
Quite the beauty line-up, isn’t it?
A lovely gift for a skin care obsessed friend, a friend with sensitive skin, or as a gift for yourself.
