I don't know why it works, but it does - how to minimize skin imperfections with a light layer of powder

From the files of “try it before you dismiss the idea”: Before you put on your base, add a super light layer of face powder, and you skin will appear flawless and glowing. I was skeptical when I first heard this tip a couple of weeks ago, but it works great. The trick is putting on the lightest coat possible – it’s not a matter of the more the better in this case.

I got really good results using this trick with La Mer Powder (I use Translucent) and T. LeClerc Translucide Pressed Powder - both of which have light-diffusing properties to start with, which adds and extra dose of skin-perfecting power.
